Terms of use

What you may and may not do on Paddle Plus: the account, reviews, tournaments, rental and the responsibilities of both sides. Version of 27 September 2026.

Template text for a demo store. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before using it for a real business.

1. General

These terms apply to everyone who opens Paddle Plus: browses products, reads articles, leaves reviews, creates an account, enters a tournament or rents a racket. Such a person is called the user below.

The site is run by VTS Engineering OÜ, registry code 14953637, address: Karikakra tee 52, 74117 Maardu, Harju maakond, Estonia. You can reach us at vts.juhendaja@gmail.com or +372 5800 7144.

The terms work together with the terms of sale, the privacy policy, the cookie policy and the tournament rules. Where the texts differ, a purchase follows the terms of sale, a tournament follows the tournament rules, and data follows the privacy policy.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site; that is the only consequence — the terms place no hidden obligations on you.

2. The account

An account lets you see your orders, enter tournaments, appear in the ranking and get club discounts. You can also buy without one.

  • One person, one account. A second account for the same person may be closed: several accounts are how bonus farming and tournament bans get worked around.
  • Give real details about yourself. The name goes on the order and into the participant list: a parcel is not handed over under an invented name, and a tournament will not admit one.
  • Never share your password or the code from the email. Everything done under your account counts as done by you until you tell us the access was lost.
  • If you notice a strange sign-in or an order you did not place, write to vts.juhendaja@gmail.com — we will end the sessions and help you change the password.
  • You delete the account yourself under 'Account → Profile'. What stays after that, and why, is set out in the privacy policy.

3. Reviews and other content you post

A product review can be left by someone who bought the product from us and received it: the shop verifies the purchase against the order. The form opens two weeks after delivery — by then the thing has been tried, and the review is about playing rather than about shipping speed.

By leaving a review you confirm that the text is yours, that what it says is true, and that you are at least 18.

Reviews and any other messages may not contain:

  • knowingly false claims about a product, the shop or another person;
  • insults, threats or incitement of hatred;
  • other people's personal data — phone numbers, addresses, private messages;
  • someone else's texts or photos without the author's permission;
  • advertising of other shops, links or spam;
  • malicious code or anything unlawful.

A buyer's review is published straight away — there is no queue to wait in. Links, other people's contacts and text in capitals do not pass the automatic filter: those we look at by hand, usually within a day. We do not edit reviews and we do not delete bad ratings: a negative review stays on the site as long as it breaks none of the rules. We remove only what breaks the list above, and we explain why where we can.

A published review stays with the product, and you can ask us to take it down at any time. We show it on the product page and may quote it in our own materials about the shop — your text is never sold or handed on beyond that.

4. Tournaments, the club and the ranking

Entering a tournament is a request to take part. It becomes binding when we confirm it, and the fee is paid on the terms of that tournament.

By entering you accept the tournament rules: formats, withdrawal deadlines, conduct on court and what follows a no-show are written there.

  • A no-show without warning and unsporting behaviour are marked with a red card. Five active cards close access to tournaments and to the ranking table until the earliest of them expires.
  • Match results are entered by the organiser. The ranking position is calculated from them automatically and is not edited by hand — otherwise the table would stop meaning anything.
  • Other players' profiles are open to Gold members. Looking at a profile to judge an opponent's level is fine; harvesting data from it or sending people offers is not.
  • Gold membership runs for a year and cannot be passed to another person.

We may cancel a tournament if the field does not fill or circumstances beyond our control get in the way. The fee paid is refunded in that case.

5. Racket rental and coach bookings

A rental request and a coach request are not yet a contract: we get in touch, confirm a free racket or a free slot, and only then set the rental up.

The rental itself — periods, payments, the deposit, the condition of the racket on return — is described in the rental terms and in the agreement signed at handover.

A rented racket stays our property until it is fully bought out, where the agreement provides for a buy-out.

6. Bonuses, referrals and discounts

Store credit, referral coupons and the birthday gift are a thank-you to regular customers, not a means of payment: they are not paid out in cash and cannot be transferred to anyone else.

A referral works for new customers. Inviting yourself, creating accounts on someone else's or invented details, or splitting orders to farm coupons is not allowed.

Where we see farming, the bonuses are cancelled and the accounts are closed. Disputed cases are settled by correspondence — write to us before treating it as final.

7. Rights to the content of the site

The texts, photos, product descriptions, design, logo and the software behind the site belong to us or are used with the rights holders' permission.

For yourself you may use the site freely: browse it, save pages, share links, quote it with a reference to the source.

Without our written permission you may not copy the catalogue in whole or in part for another shop, resell our photos and texts, or present them as your own.

Automated collection — robots, scrapers, scripts, bulk requests — is allowed only by arrangement with us. Search engines are welcome to index the site.

Manufacturers' names and logos belong to the manufacturers. We show them because we sell those goods.

8. How the site works

We do our best to keep the site running without breaks, but we do not promise it: there are updates, hosting failures and connection problems.

We may change the range of goods, the sections and the features of the site, and may pause it for maintenance. We announce long interruptions in advance where we can.

Prices, stock and delivery times are shown as accurately as we can. If a product page contains an obvious error — a price several times off the real one, say — we may cancel such an order and refund the money at once.

The site can link to third-party resources: manufacturers' sites, maps, the payment provider. We are not responsible for their content.

9. Restricting access

We may restrict access to an account or to parts of the site if a user breaks these terms, disrupts the site, tries to obtain other people's data, farms bonuses, or behaves in a way that harms other people.

A restriction is a last resort and we explain the reason. If you think the decision is wrong, write to vts.juhendaja@gmail.com: we will look into it and lift the restriction if the mistake is ours.

Paid but undelivered orders are not affected: we either deliver them or refund the money.

10. Liability

We answer for the goods sold and the services provided as the Estonian Law of Obligations Act and the Consumer Protection Act require. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives a consumer — even if a clause here reads otherwise, the law applies.

We are not responsible for what does not depend on us: your device or internet connection, failures at your email provider, or the acts of third parties who obtained your password.

Playing padel, taking part in tournaments and using rented equipment are at your own risk. Judge your own state of health; the shop provides no sports insurance.

A user is liable for damage caused to us or to others by breaking these terms.

11. Personal data

What data we collect, why, on what basis, for how long and with whom we share it is set out in the privacy policy. Your rights and how to contact us are there too.

A review left on the site is visible to every visitor together with the name from your account. Your phone, email and date of birth are shown to no visitor.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Estonia.

Write to vts.juhendaja@gmail.com first: almost everything is settled by correspondence, and it is faster than any proceedings. We answer within 15 days.

If no agreement is reached, a consumer may turn to the consumer disputes committee at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (Tarbijakaitse ja Tehnilise Järelevalve Amet, Endla 10a, 10122 Tallinn, ttja.ee) — the procedure is free — or to the court of their place of residence.

For online purchases the European online dispute resolution platform ec.europa.eu/odr is also available.

If a clause of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest stay in force.

13. Changes to these terms

The current version always sits on this page, with its date at the top.

We announce material changes on the site in advance. An order already placed is governed by the version that was in force when it was placed.
